Seeschau Clinic

The Seeschau Clinic has systematically upgraded its existing systems and digitized key processes. The focus was on automating administrative workflows and reducing the workload on staff while maintaining a high level of service quality.

Initial Situation
As a long-standing trifact customer, Klinik Seeschau was already using existing solutions but aimed to systematically eliminate manual and paper-based processes.
Particular attention was paid to food service and the expansion of recreational offerings. At the same time, the goal was to maintain personal contact with patients while significantly reducing the daily workload for staff.

Challenges
The implementation required close coordination between various systems and partners. Key requirements included the direct integration of food service processes into existing systems and end-to-end, automated billing.
Particular emphasis was placed on developing robust interfaces and precise requirements management.

Solution
Following a hardware upgrade, triApp 2.0 was introduced and further developed in close collaboration with all stakeholders. The solution integrates key processes directly into the existing system landscape.
Catering services are imported directly from SAP and processed automatically. In addition, triBell was implemented—a solution that digitally maps service and ordering processes and forwards them directly to the relevant departments.
The rollout was carried out in phases, including a pilot phase and test scenarios during live operations.

Results
The clinic was able to significantly streamline its processes and improve day-to-day efficiency.

  • Significant reduction in staff workload thanks to automated processes
  • More time for direct patient care
  • Simplified ordering and billing processes
  • Faster and more streamlined processes, especially during the exit process

“By implementing these new solutions, we have been able to significantly streamline our workflows. Our internal analysis shows that we now have about half an hour to an hour more time each day to devote directly to caring for our patients. We have been able to significantly reduce the administrative burden, particularly during the discharge process.”

Philipp Juchli, Head of Patient Administration, Seeschau Clinic

Outlook
The implemented solutions form the foundation for further digitalization and continuous optimization of clinical processes.
